Even though the ship was already 15 years old, it was in remarkably good condition. Minor deficiencies were fixed quickly and easily by the charterer, such as when two employees came across the island to replace a shackle on the base of the mast. The faulty inverter wasn't a big problem, as the USB port worked and on request, the charter company would even have replaced it in Kefalonia. I had my own inverter with me and there was also a well-functioning generator as an alternative. The refrigerator was also a pleasant surprise and produced ice cubes flawlessly. Communication and service were extremely pleasant both on site and during the trip, and the ship was ready for pickup early on. What Michael wrote on 08.10.2023 completely contradicts my experience. Maybe he was on another ship? I would charter this yacht again without hesitation! One minor limitation was the weak service battery, which was sufficient in summer thanks to the solar system but may not be enough in autumn. The radio battery also weakened a bit, which was probably due to the charger, and the charterer promised to take care of it. It would also have been nice to have seat cushions for the cockpit, which are now standard but unfortunately were not available.

The boat made for a pleasant experience despite its age, given its well-maintained condition. It came with new sails and lines, which was a nice touch, and everything was impeccably clean upon our arrival. The communication with the team at viravira.co was consistently efficient, making the entire process incredibly smooth. The staff was remarkably friendly and provided excellent service throughout our journey. However, the initial walkthrough and introduction to the boat could have been organized a bit better, as it felt somewhat rushed. We encountered a couple of issues onboard, notably the chart plotter was not entirely functional, and the bow thruster was out of order. Nevertheless, overall, it was a richly rewarding experience that offered good value for money, and the environment at the marina was welcoming and accommodating.
