Sailboat Charter Volos & Sailing Yacht Rental

The sailboat was in very good condition and well equipped. The heavy, long anchor chain was especially useful in Greece. Considering the boat’s age, it was in far better shape than some 1 or 2 year old boats we had chartered elsewhere. We would definitely book here again. One thing to know is that the deposit was paid in cash at the time, but the checkout was very fair and we got it back immediately.

The sailboat was in very good condition and clearly well maintained. The paperwork was handled quickly, and at pick up we received all the explanations we needed. Whenever we had a problem, the team was easy to reach and answered the phone at any time. We also got very useful phone numbers and advice on where to anchor and who to contact to reserve a berth on the islands. Check out was fast as well. The boat is based on the beautiful Volos waterfront, with plenty of terraces offering good food at reasonable prices. We sailed for two weeks without any issues and are already thinking about coming back to the Sporades. Only a modern coffee machine would have made it even better.

It was a really fun trip and I’d definitely recommend it.

The boat was really nice and good value for the money. The only issue was that the hull could use some cleaning because the barnacles slow it down by around 1 to 2 knots when sailing.

The sailboat was in really great shape and handled very well. We had an unusually cold week at the beginning of October, so the Webasto made a big difference. It was clean and clearly well maintained, with none of the usual smells you often get on older boats. The batteries and sails seemed quite new and both performed well. We had a very good time overall. There were just a few minor issues that were already being addressed, like the anchor chain slipping a little on the windlass, the fridge not getting very cold, and the autopilot being slightly off course. Some of the instruments also had sun damaged pixels, which made the numbers in the corners harder to read. One small thing that could be improved is having a place to put a drink at the helm.

Everything worked fine and it was pretty much as described. A good boat for relaxed cruising days, although the bimini and sprayhood were quite worn out. The sail setup could also be improved a bit.

We received a very warm welcome, and the charter company’s team was professional and easy to work with throughout. The customer service was truly at a high level. Sailing in the Sporades was a great choice, though the facilities and infrastructure at Volos port could be improved.

We have had a wonderful week. The boat was a perfect for our first trip in family, but the best was the experience with the team around. High reactivity at the begining of my search to answer all my doubts, then good follow up after my booking, including several calls to help me get organized. Finally a wonderful skipper open to our wishes but also productive with advices.All members of the family left delighted of the experience and sad to leave the sea.
