Viravira allows boat owners to choose among 4 standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Semi-Flexible, Strict and Super Strict) that protect renter and boat owner equally.

An advance payment is required at the time of booking. Once a booking has been confirmed, the renter can cancel this booking free of charge for a maximum of 3 days.

All packages that regulate cancellation conditions have a Long Stop Date set. After the expiry of the 3-day free cancellation period, the booking can be canceled until the Long Stop Date, but the advance payment is not refunded. The remaining payment must be made until Long Stop Date, unless otherwise stated. The booking is finalized by the Long Stop Date and in case of cancellation, the payments made via the platform are not refunded.

Even if 3-day free cancellation period has not expired yet, booking is considered final by the Long Stop Date. For bookings confirmed after the Long Stop Date, 3-day free cancellation rule does not apply. As of and within this date, credit card provision is removed and booking fee is charged for the payments made via credit card.

Cancellation policy will be stated clearly for each listing and booking on our site.

All dates related to booking process and cancellation and modification terms are determined according to the boat's time zone.

Flexible Booking: Long Stop Date is 3 days prior to Check-in Date.

  • An advance payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Booking can be cancelled with 100% refund within 3 days after boat owner's confirmation.
  • After the 3-day free cancellation period has ended, if there is still time until the Long Stop Date, booking can be cancelled but advance payment is not refunded.
  • The remaining payment is made by the Renter until the Long Stop Date, unless otherwise stated.
  • As of Long Stop Date, booking becomes definite with no refund in case of cancellation; the ongoing free cancellation right terminates.

Semi Flexible Booking: Long Stop Date is 7 days prior to Check-in Date.

  • An advance payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Booking can be cancelled with 100% refund within 3 days after boat owner's confirmation.
  • After the 3-day free cancellation period has ended, if there is still time until the Long Stop Date, booking can be cancelled but advance payment is not refunded.
  • The remaining payment is made by the Renter until the Long Stop Date, unless otherwise stated.
  • As of Long Stop Date, booking becomes definite with no refund in case of cancellation; the ongoing free cancellation right terminates.

Solid Booking: Long Stop Date is 14 days prior to Check-in Date.

  • An advance payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Booking can be cancelled with 100% refund within 3 days after boat owner's confirmation.
  • After the 3-day free cancellation period has ended, if there is still time until the Long Stop Date, booking can be cancelled but advance payment is not refunded.
  • The remaining payment is made by the Renter until the Long Stop Date, unless otherwise stated.
  • As of Long Stop Date, booking becomes definite with no refund in case of cancellation; the ongoing free cancellation right terminates.

Super Solid Booking: Long Stop Date is 30 days prior to Check-in Date.

  • An advance payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Booking can be cancelled with 100% refund within 3 days after boat owner's confirmation.
  • After the 3-day free cancellation period has ended, if there is still time until the Long Stop Date, booking can be cancelled but advance payment is not refunded.
  • The remaining payment is made by the Renter until the Long Stop Date, unless otherwise stated.
  • As of Long Stop Date, booking becomes definite with no refund in case of cancellation; the ongoing free cancellation right terminates.
