Jun 2026

We chartered a sailing yacht through viravira.co for the last week of May 2026. The boat was fairly new and in good condition. The charter company was family run, and the team was very welcoming and helpful both with the paperwork and any technical matters. We left from Marina di Stabia and spent the first and last nights of our seven day holiday there. The marina is modern and nicely laid out, and having a good restaurant on site was convenient since Castellammare di Stabia is about a 25 to 30 minute walk away.

The check in and check out staff were very nice, professional, and polite. The boat was clean, and all the kitchen equipment was available and worked well. The only small issue was that adjusting the Genoa hoist was not easy, and having a dedicated winch on the mast would have made things better.

The sailboat was very nice, well equipped and properly prepared. The team was helpful and polite, and I was pleasantly surprised that each crew member got two towels, one small and one large.
