Our recent yacht charter experience was generally pleasant, thanks to the assistance we received while addressing a few technical challenges with the anchor chain and mast furling. The land steward’s support was invaluable, making our journey smoother and more enjoyable. However, I did encounter an unexpected aspect regarding insurance costs. We had to pay an additional 180 EUR, which was stated on the site, but I found it wasn't emphasized clearly enough. In previous experiences, I only needed to provide a refundable guarantee, so this non-refundable payment caught me by surprise. Despite this, the overall quality of the yacht, marina, and charter service was quite good, contributing positively to our overall experience.
