I studied at the Faculty of Literature of the Aegean University and the Orientalist departments of the University of Hamburg. I started my seafaring career in 2004-2008 with the management of Karaburun Sailing Club. My sailing education began in those years. In the same years, I worked as a diving instructor at the diving center, where I became a sailing referee and founder. In 2006 I received my yacht class sailing training from Doğan Güzeliş. In 2007, I got my 500gr/ton Yacht Captain's license by participating in yacht captaincy and MCA trainings at Cumhur Gokova's school. I have been a captain of private and commercial yachts since 2008. I have thousands of miles of cruise experience in many areas of the Mediterranean and Aegean, from Corfu to Sicily, Malta to Crete, from Istanbul to Cyprus. I speak German at a good level of English at an intermediate level.
