The overall experience on our yacht charter was quite satisfying, thanks to the amiable and supportive staff who made every effort to assist us throughout the journey. The yacht itself was of good quality, reflecting an 8 out of 10 experience, though it did have some minor maintenance issues such as lighting, electrical systems, and general hardware. While these didn't overshadow our trip, they were noticeable. The process of picking up the boat was smooth and well-organized, contributing to a solid experience. However, the charter company's service fell slightly short, aligning with the decent but not exceptional facilities at the marina. In terms of value for money, it turned out to be a solid choice, making the trip quite enjoyable overall.

As the new sailing season began, the marinas exuded a peaceful atmosphere due to fewer visitors, and some yachts were still being prepared. This led to a welcome surprise when I was upgraded from a Bavaria 32 to the more spacious Dufour 360, a thoughtful touch by the company. The yacht was impeccably equipped with diesel heating for the cooler days, plus an additional heater for use in the port, ensuring comfort no matter the weather. Payment was made particularly easy as everything, including the deposit, log, and even car parking, could be settled by card. This made the entire process incredibly convenient. Impressively, the charter company reached out a couple of days before our scheduled departure, offering helpful advice and answering any queries we had. Their proactive communication continued throughout our rental, which offered great reassurance. The quality of the yacht, the seamless pick-up process, and the attentive service from the company resulted in an outstanding value-for-money experience at the marina. Overall, it was a perfect sailing venture.

The yacht we chartered was in impressive condition and came well-equipped with everything we needed. The Elvstroem rolling sails were also in excellent condition and quite user-friendly, though they required some trimming to maximize performance, which is perfectly expected for a vessel of its size. The person in charge of the charter company was incredibly accommodating, approachable, and always ready to help with any requests. The processes for check-in and check-out were straightforward and hassle-free. Our only hiccup was that the boat take-over was delayed due to a technical problem with another boat from a previous crew, causing our departure to be pushed to later in the evening. It seemed like the situation could have been handled with better prioritization, but this was an unusual circumstance that doesn’t affect my overall view. There was a slight discrepancy in the check-in and check-out times from the information provided by viravira.co, but that didn’t overshadow what was, overall, a fantastic experience. I'm definitely open to chartering here again!
