It was the start of the season, so the marinas were still a bit quiet and some boats were not fully ready. Because of that, the charter company upgraded us, which was a nice gesture, and we got a different sailboat than the one we had originally booked. The boat was well prepared, with diesel heating and an extra heater that could be connected in the port. It was also very convenient that the deposit, transit log and car parking could all be paid by card. The charter company contacted us a few days before the rental with useful tips and advice, and we stayed in touch throughout in case we had any questions.

The Stockholm Archipelago is simply amazing and, with a bit of luck, the weather can be perfect too. The boat was well maintained by the team. It would also be helpful to include a list of the best natural mooring spots in the welcome package, such as Napoleonsviken, Bullerö or Huvudskär.
