With respect to the general restrictions and developments such as lockdowns or travel restrictions, which prevent a renter from being present on the check-in date, the boat owner shall choose and apply one of the following 3 standard policies:

The boat owner;

• Refund all payments they have received without any deduction,,
• Postpone the booking to a future date in accordance with the choice of the renter,
• Upon renter’s choice, refund all payments received without any deduction, or postpone the booking to a future date. You can view the force majeure policy in the listing details.

All boats listed on viravira.co are verified by viravira.co or third-party business partners. Prior to the first booking, specific verification documents are required from the listing owner based on the country of residence. These documents are examined to confirm the boat exists and to determine the boat owner. Only boat owners and operators which are properly authorized by boat owners can create listings on viravira.co.

viravira.co keeps the payments collected from the renters in an escrow account held by the Payment Service Provider at Central Bank. In other words, the booking fee collected on behalf of the boat owner is kept securely in an account separate from the legal entity of viravira.co.

Payments to the boat owners are made before or after check-in according to their risk scores and business models. If the booking fee is sent before check-in, a Payment Transfer Agreement is signed between viravira.co and the boat owner. With this agreement, the amounts collected from the renter and transferred to the boat owner are secured legally.
