Things to Take into Consideration While Selecting a Boat
  • It is very critical to set the budget correctly like the rest of the holiday types. You need to learn which facilities are included in the price, and ask who will be responsible for the taxes and port expenses especially if you will go to foreign countries.
  • What kind of boat you would like to rent? It is possible to have a blue voyage with sailboats, gulets, catamarans and motoryachts. You can decide regarding to your budget, to how many people will attend the trip, and to other criterias (speed, comfort, silence etc.) We once more want to mention that gulets are the most suitable boat types for blue voyages in Turkey.
  • There are two ways to rent a boat, with or without the crew. Renting the boat with the crew is more expensive but, as the crew provides all your needs, you can have a more comfortable holiday.  It is important to gain information regarding the crew in advance. Additionally you can increase the number of the staff if it is necessary.
  • Another point to pay attention is the age and the history of the boat.  Younger boats are more ideal as they are safer.
